To start, look through the boards of government to find a position that aligns with your interests — feel free to then attend a board meeting to ask questions and see your student leadership in action!

Requirements to Participate

• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0
• Be enrolled in 8 units each quarter 
• Attend weekly Campus Council meetings
• Attend weekly board meeting(s)
• Pay your Student Body Fee
• Uphold student conduct aligned with ASFC goals

Brown Act Compliant

Agendas will be posted in the Public Files below and physically outside the room of which the meeting is held 72 hours before the meeting. Minutes will be available in the Public Files below 96 hours after the meeting. 

Submit and Agenda Item

Agenda Items: Agenda items must be submitted to the Secretary and the Board Chair four business days before the proximate meeting at 12:30 p.m. Referance meeting table below for specific days and contact information. 

Please title your email Agenda Item - Your Organization and include the following information.

• Agenda Item name
• Presenter name & contact information
• Desired ASFC meeting date
• Approximate length of item 
• 10 to 20 word description of the item

 

Attend a Weekly ASFC Meeting

Exceptions: Finals week, college breaks, and summer session. Some board meeting times are subject to change.

Inter-Club Council (ICC) Tuesdays 2pm–3pm in 2020 Council Chambers Agenda Items: Agenda items must be submitted to [email protected] and [email protected] before the preceeding Thursday at 12:00 p.m.

Finance Board Tuesdays 2pm–4pm in 2019 Council Chambers Agenda Items: Agenda items must be submitted to [email protected] and [email protected] before the preceeding Thursday at 12:00 p.m.

Administration Board Fall 2025 Meeting Time & Location TBD Agenda Items: Agenda items must be submitted to [email protected] and [email protected] before the preceeding Thursday at 12:00 p.m.

Activities Board Fall 2025 Meeting Time & Location TBD Agenda Items: Agenda items must be submitted to [email protected] and [email protected] before the preceeding Thursday at 12:00 p.m. Activities Board member also attend College Hour events. Wednesdays 12pm to 1pm - location varies.
