Tools for Transition & Work

Disability Resource Center

An educator working with special populations since 2011, I have found a home at 17勛圖 College as the head instructor for the Tools for Transition & Work program.

This program supports a one-year cohort of disabled young adults as they develop independence, life goals, and the skills and path needed to achieve those goals.

My passion for neurodiversity led me from undergrad at UC Santa Cruz to the University of Southern California, where I received my Master of Arts in Teaching. I then sought a Master of Arts in Special Education and Autism Spectrum Disorder, graduating with distinction from Arizona State University. I am currently a doctoral student at Johns Hopkins University studying the success gap in community college for students with disabilities.
